Diploma of Work Health and Safety
This qualification reflects the role of individuals coordinating and maintaining the work health and safety (WHS) program in an organisation. The qualification applies to supervisors and managers who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.

Entry Requirements
All BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety core units or equivalent competencies. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to the following units which have been mapped as equivalent.
- BSBWHS412 Assist with workplace compliance with WHS laws
- BSBWHS413 Contribute to implementation and maintenance of WHS consultation and participation processes
- BSBWHS414 Contribute to WHS risk management
- BSBWHS415 Contribute to implementing WHS management systems
- BSBWHS416 Contribute to workplace incident response
Dynamic Training Services has the following entry requirements:
International students must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must posses sound computer skills.
- Have an IELTS* score of 6.0 & above or equivalent or English placement test.
(Those students who do not meet the minimum English requirement will need to package this program with an English Course before proceeding to this qualification).
Pathways
Potential employment options are in a range of WHS management roles for example:
- Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the BSB60619 Advanced Diploma of Work Health and Safety.
Course Credit
Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning). The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course.

Delivery and assessment overview
The qualification is delivered over 52 weeks comprising of:
- Four (4) terms of 10 weeks each (40 weeks total)
- Holiday breaks amounting to 12 weeks (as specified in the timetable)
Students are required to attend 20 hours of classroom training per week.
